High school students of The Crossword School participated in essay writing and debate competitions on 25 October 2023, Wednesday, the eve of Police Commemoration Day.
On 27 October 2023, the local sub-inspector Mr Nara Hari visited and interacted with the high-schoolers and explained to them the importance of education. He advised the students to read books, inspirational biographies, and newspapers. Later, the winners of the contests were congratulated and awarded with philosophical books provided by the police department.
The essays written by the High were excellent! The essay contest, in particular, was a huge success, with participants demonstrating their writing skills and expressing the ideas and thoughts on the gender discrimination.
